STATEMENT OF BELIEF
We believe in the sovereignty of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ,through whose life, death and resurrection we have been saved, for all have sinned and come short of God's standards.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no-one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2 v. 8-10 NIV)
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is comprised of all who receive Him as Saviour and acknowledge Him as Lord. It is the body of which He is the Head, and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world. We believe in obeying this command without any single denominational emphasis.
And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church. (Ephesians 1 v. 22 NIV)
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and the trustworthy authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (II Timothy 3 v. 16,17 NIV)
