HISTORY The Irish Christian Writers’ Fellowship was formed as a result of a course on Christian writing held at the Irish Bible School, Coalbrook, County Tipperary, in 1983. As the availability and willingness of members and other interested parties have permitted, we have from time to time produced anthologies and run competitions, literary evenings and training courses. We meet together as regularly as is possible with regard to our difficulty in finding a suitable venue and, five or six times a year, we produce a small presentation of members’ work, now called “The Candlestick”.
